President and CEO Yasuyuki Hasebe

Mr. Hasebe has been Smartec's President and Chief Executive Office since he co-founded the Company (former named TOSY corporation) in June 2002. He is also Founder, President and CEO of Infora corporation. Prior to Infora, Mr. Hasebe worked for the world leading software company Oracle corporation. He was named General Sales Manager and General Business Operation Manager. Prior to Oracle, Mr. Hasebe served as Sales representative of IBM corporation. Mr. Hasebe was born in Kamioka-cho (where Super-Kamiokande is located), Gifu, Japan, in 1962. He holds a Master of Science and Engineering degree from Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan. The Smartec History

2000-09 ： Natural Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) started the "Platforms to promote development of inexpensive CAD/CAM" research, one project among 6 themes of Digital Meister Project, sponsored by New Energy and Industrial Technology Development (NEDO).
2001-06 ： AIST developed MZ Platform as outcome of the "Platforms to promote development of inexpensive CAD/CAM".
2003-06 ： Founded Tosy Corporation
2003-07 ： Certified as AIST Venture Company
2004-03 ： Changed the name of company to Smartec Inc.
2004-06 ： Started business operation at BUREX KYOBASHI (2-7-14 Kyobashi, chuo-ku, Tokyo)
2004-10 ： Professor Inui at Ibaragi University joined Smartec for new hardware based CAM technology contribution.

Smartec, as AIST certified Venture Company, promotes utilization and distribution of MZ Platform developed by AIST. Smartec also provides professional consulting and support services based on free-distribution MZ Platform to our partners and customers in manufacturing industry.
